Speech Language Pathologist

The DDRC Early Intervention Team is growing and seeks to hire a Speech Language Pathologist to support children and families in the Jefferson County area. This position is responsible for providing Early Intervention services via telehealth, in families' homes and in community settings using the Trans-disciplinary/Primary Service Provider model and coaching method of service delivery. You will work within a team of other employees at DDRC (providers and service coordinators), along with contracted Early Intervention providers. In addition to participating in initial IFSP development you will also participate in Early Intervention Evaluations. We strive to provide the highest quality therapy for children 0-3 years of age based on evidenced based practice. Our team (OT, PT, SLP, Developmental Interventionists and Social/Emotional providers) comes together weekly to discuss various approaches and how to work together to provide elite services to each child and their families.

Early intervention services shall be provided by qualified providers who meet the state personnel standards for each early intervention service. Early intervention providers shall maintain current and accurate documentation, including certifications, licensing, endorsements, and registrations and shall register, and update his or her information at least annually, in the statewide data system. An early intervention provider shall complete all required training, as defined by the department.
